Anonymous asked: how you did the armor for the cosplay of eucliwood?? sorry for my english a can't speak very well, please answer me.
For eucliwoods armour i planned the pieces out first on paper to make the patterns for the individual pieces. I then cut it out of craft foam, which is flexible enough to provide a good base layer that fits the arm perfectly. For cheaper costumes you can essentially use just craft foam and paper mache. If you want a longer lasting costume then worbla or wonderflex would be best to look into. These provide a stiff base to the armour that molds your shape exactly. You heat them up and mold them into whatever shape you need. You then attach hooks to the sides and string through ribbon or fabric or whatever you wish to use to attach it to you.
Also for creating your first pattern, clingfilming the area and then covering it in masking tape and cutting out can provide you with the perfect base for your armour to be based around.
I started work on a pans labyrinth costume for a halloween costume event. The mask is almost complete and so are the shoe covers, chest piece, shoulder parts and the shirt covering.
Started making hair accesories to sell.
Planning my next cosplay as sicila from sword art online. Going to buy fabric as soon as possible!
I made a mad moxxi costume for a video game night out. :D
I’ve been busy constructing these arm armour pieces for my new cosplay., Leonmitchelli from Dog Days
I decided to take some more decent up to date images of my Mrs lovett costume as I have very few images of it looking good.
50 shades of lame
So dissapointed at what an absolute pile of trash 50 shades of grey has turned out to be. MY motto is don’t make a judgement until you read it, so that’s exactly what I did. Dissapointment followed every page to a story hyped up to be great but is a whole lot of nothing happening. I expect amazing scenes to happen but it almost seems like a very shallow pond at times where every few paces James decides to drop down a tiny acorn of events. Once you get over those minor events it’s pretty dull to read. There was nothing in there that shocked me or moved me at all. It just seems like the story of a whiny woman reluctant to leave a man who treats her like crap, staying only because he’s her first relationship, she has no comparison and her self esteem is so low she’s stuck believing she won’t find another man.
I can’t rewind time. I can however wash away the effects with some tolkien!
I’m going to break out my costume bag and take some photos. This should be interesting.
